Becca Bartlett has been said to bring a sort of magic to the microphone that quiets the mind and awakens the soul. The 23-year-old singer songwriter from Newfoundland, Canada is a born storyteller, with a unique, velvety voice and vivid lyrics. Her music has an indie-folk sound that also ventures into pop, and each song builds its own world in front of you. With a perfect mix of ethereal charm and down-to-earth warmth, Becca’s performances leave a lasting impression on her listeners. 

Her talent has earned wide recognition: She was nominated for Folk Artist of the Year, Music Video of the Year, as well as the Ron Hynes Songwriter of the Year award at the 2026 MusicNL awards. Her music video for “Cicadas” won Best Music Video at the Brampton International Nollywood Film Festival. Past award nominations include 2024 and 2025 MusicNL Pop Artist of the Year, and 2025 ArtsNL Emerging Artist of the year. She received the 2021 Focus on Youth Performing Individual Award from the City of Mount Pearl for her contributions to the local arts scene. In 2024, her poignant ballad "Wrong" won an Arts and Letters Award, and in 2025 she was selected to be mentored by legendary artist Seal at The Person First Mentor meet up. 

In July of 2026, Becca Released her Debut EP "Me, Myself and a Mirror". Exploring acceptance, mental health, self-image, and climate justice, the project’s first single, “Cicadas,” has been called “a modern folk gem—raw, hopeful, and introspective.”

Becca Bartlett Releases debut EP "Me, Myself and a Mirror"

Becca Bartlett celebrates the release of her debut EP Me, Myself and a Mirror Saturday July 25th. Across Me, Myself and a Mirror, Bartlett writes about self-acceptance, mental health, love, loss, self-image, and climate justice — from “Tears of Gaia,” sung from the perspective of a betrayed Earth, to “Cicadas,” a reminder that it’s alright “to be chaos, clean, and in between.”

The EP is available on bandcamp and all streaming platforms.
